Shack Foundation Scholarships
In 2002, The William I. Retiring in his mid 40’s and returning home, he contributed time, talent and treasure to help build the baseball building on campus and helped spur growth in the DeSales Alumni Association. In the fall of 2001, Shack was diagnosed with lung cancer and succumbed to the disease five months later. Shack cherished his opportunity to attend DeSales, and the Shack Foundation was established to support students who want the same opportunity.
