St. Francis DeSales Benefit Feast

6TH ANNUAL BENEFIT FEAST DINNER/AUCTION
featuring "Hollywood at DeSales!"

This year marked the sixth occasion of the Benefit Feast, our signature event at DeSales.  How time flies by!  As the event continues to grow in popularity, our staff and volunteers continue to make the gala a little different and a little better with each new year.  What a success in 2010, as we raised over $60,000, with over $13,000 going towards Financial Aid.  Thanks to everyone in the DeSales community for supporting this event!

What was new in 2010?
For the first time this year, the Benefit Feast held a LIVE AUCTION.  This auction included several popular and highly-coveted items:

• Box for 6 at the Kentucky Derby
• Box for 6 at the Kentucky Oaks
• 4'x8' Steepleton Pool Table (choose your felt color)
• Toshiba LCD 1080p HDTV
• One-week condo in Sarasota, FL
• One-week condo in Destin, FL
• 2 Tickets to UK/Alabama in Rupp Arena, Section 13 Row C
• Throw Out the First Pitch at a Bats Game (6 seats)
• Thunder Over Louisville Reserved Seats/Buffet for 4 at Buckhead's (IN)
• Louisville Golf Package (foursome for 5 courses, lessons and golf balls)

We also presented our first WHEEL OF CHANCE, which featured a list of 15 items fun and unique items.  Only 20 total chances were available on each item at $20 each (except Gulfstream Condo - 40 chances, and Bellarmine Tuition Voucher - 50 chances).  Click here for complete description of items

$10,000 Grand Prize Raffle
The winner of the $10,000 Grand Prize Raffle was Doris Matthis.  DeSales sold out all 400 chances.

Silent Auction
Bidding on the Silent Auction began on our Internet auction site on Monday, January 11, and continued through the live event that Saturday.  Visit our on-line auction at www.biddingforgood.com/desales.
