THE
RAMBLE FOR THE ROSES
The Ramble for the Roses, first held in 1986 by Holy Rosary Academy, features a
non-competitive 5K walk through
beautiful Iroquois Park. The walk begins and ends at the Ramble Mini-Festival,
located next to the playground and
tennis courts off New Cut Road. The Ramble Mini-Festival offers a cookout
selection of food, drink, and children’s games. A wonderful springtime
tradition, the Ramble for the Roses is an official Kentucky Derby Festival
event.

PRE-REGISTRATION & PICK-UP
With your registration, you will receive a free T-shirt, a collector’s Ramble
for the Roses pin (adults), and a voucher for
free ice cream or fruit at the end of the walk. There is also a discounted price
for early registration (see “Entry Fee”). Pre-event pick-up will be available at
DeSales High School and Holy Cross High School at the times listed below:
April 21-23: 1:00 - 5:00 PM
April 24: 10:00 AM - Noon
April 26: 1:00 - 6:00 PM
April 27: 9:00 AM - Noon
Pick up at Iroquois Park on April 27 starts at 1:00 PM
ENTRY FEE
Early Entry Fee (Rec’d or postmarked by April 17):
Adult sizes: $18.00 • Child Sizes $8.00
Regular Entry Fee (Entry received after April 17):
Adult sizes: $20.00 • Child Sizes $10.00
PARKING/WEATHER
Free parking is available at the Iroquois
Amphitheatre and at DeSales High School. No rain make-up date is scheduled;
walk, rain or shine.
SPLIT THE POT RAFFLE
Win up to $2,000 in out Ramble Split the Pot! Chances are $10 each, 400
total printed. Drawing to occur at
the Ramble at 8:00 PM. Sample chances can be found on the registration form (see
above). Please make raffle checks payable to DeSales High School.
