Honors Awards!
The individuals listed below will be on hand to
accept their awards at the 11th Annual Hall of Honors Awards Dinner
at DeSales on Tuesday, August 16, 2011. Our special guest
speaker will be the 2011 National Champion Bellarmine Knights head
coach, Scotty Davenport. The event begins at 6:30 PM.
This annual celebration offers DeSales the opportunity to
publicly recognize and thank special individuals in the
DeSales community.

DeSales High School Background
The designation of “Hall of Honors Inductee” is the highest
distinction bestowed by DeSales High School. Members of the
Hall of Honors have distinguished themselves and DeSales
through their outstanding accomplishments, character, or
commitment to DeSales.
In 2010, DeSales introduced three new awards: the
Outstanding Service Award, recognizing an individual's
extraordinary dedication to DeSales; the Young Alumnus
Award, recognizing a graduate of the past 10 years; and
the President's Award, recognizing an exemplary faculty
member of DeSales High School.
The DeSales Hall of Honors was established in 1992.
Since then, thirty-eight DeSales alumni and former
faculty/staff members have been named to this prestigious
group.
Five individuals have also been selected for
the “Lifetime Service Award", a special honor that recognizes individuals who have committed many years of their life to the mission of DeSales High School. In 2008, a special "Honorary Alumnus" award
was also bestowed.
