Colts Finish Runner-Up at State for the Second Straight Year

After winning the All "A" Region Six tournament in January, DeSales continued its run to the state title game by beating Bardstown, Lexington Christian and Newport Central Catholic.

Those wins set up a battle with Betsy Lane in all the All "A" state final on Sunday in Richmond.

The Colts had to settle for runner-up, falling short in a 44-41 defeat.  Brandon Brooks led the Colts with 11 points. Evan Bingham added 10 points, and Jake Sliter and Corbin Maynard pitched in eight points apiece.
