Attention Cross Country Alums!
You are invited to the 17th annual DeSales Cross Country Invitational Saturday, October 24, at McNeely Lake Park.  Many of you remember running in this race known as one of the most well attended events of the cross country season in Jefferson County.  This event was brought back to life by Coach Paul Wise in the early ‘90’s.

In addition, next year in 2010, the DeSales Cross Country program will host a reunion to coincide with the 40th anniversary of DeSales’ three State Championships.  This is an early invitation to all former cross country runners and coaches to plan for this event.  Tentatively, the plan is for a Friday evening gathering perhaps at a football game with a social to follow and then for all to come to the invitational on Saturday.

If you would like further information, you may contact Coach Paul Wise at yocoach84@aol.com or Tony Medley at tony.medley@gmail.com.

Also, if you know of any cross country alumni who are not currently receiving the e-newsletters or who have email addresses, please forwrad that information to alumni@desaleshs.com.  Please mark your calendar for this event and plan to come celebrate DeSales championship history and current successes.
