The Deans: Mentoring and Guidance

DeSales recognizes the importance of developing the whole person by providing each student access to a Dean during each of his four year. The Freshman and Sophomore Dean works with students on transitioning into high school and determining which program of study they will pursue. The Junior and Senior Dean works with students on college admissions and the transition out of high school. The Deans are the first point of contact for the students and their parents with the school in matters of academics, discipline and personal growth.

UPS School to Work

This collaborative program provides seniors the opportunity to gain valuable work experience and earn college credits prior to formally beginning their college careers. Students attend regular classes in the morning, work at UPS as package handlers in the afternoon and take a Jefferson Community College course twice a week at the UPS Training and Educational Center located near the UPS air hub. Students earn four elective credits toward graduation by successfully participating and completing the program.
