Admission Policy

DeSales High School admits students of any race, color, national or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its admission policies, educational policies, scholarship and financial aid programs, or athletic and other school-administered programs.

Students who wish to start DeSales after the completion of 8th grade should contact Mr. Terry Barney, Associate Director of Admissions, at 368-6519. The Placement Test for the 2007-08 school year will be held at DeSales on Saturday, December 8, 2007, from 9 am to 12:30 pm. The make-up placement test is January 12 from 9 am to 12:30 pm.

Students who wish to transfer to DeSales from another high school should also contact Mr. Barney. An interview with the prospective student and his parents will be set up to discuss the reason(s) for the transfer and the student's academic and discipline record at his current school.
