Tuition

In the spring of each year, the DeSales High School Governing Board sets tuition for the upcoming year. The tuition at the school covers the cost of all books and most student fees. Please contact the Director of Finance and Facilities at 368-6519 x34 to discuss tuition.

Tuition Payment Plans

  • Single Payment - This plan requires tuition to be paid in full on or before July 1 of each year. Families who choose this option make their one-time payment directly to the school and receive a discount if the payment is received in the school office no later than July 15.

  • Monthly Payments - This plan requires tuition to be paid in twelve installments, beginning in June and completing in May of the following year. The school uses FACTS, an automatic withdrawal payment plan that may deduct from either a checking or savings account. The monthly payment plan requires that the family sign a FACTS Automatic Tuition Payment contract. FACTS assesses an annual fee for this service and automatically withdraws its fee directly from the designated checking or savings account. This fee is not covered by tuition.

It is essential that families keep their tuition accounts current. Delinquent accounts can jeopardize continued enrollment or re-enrollment with the school and are subject to collection by an outside agency. The school will hold grade reports and diplomas for any student whose account is past due.

    Privacy of Financial Information

The school business office will provide financial information only to the person or persons who sign(s) the Tuition Payment Contract. The school will never provide financial information to a student.

    Non-Catholic/Parish Fee

A $50 non-Catholic/parish fee will be assessed to non-Catholic families or families who are not registered in a Catholic parish. It is the family's responsibility to show proof of parish membership either by a phone call or letter from the church/parish.

    Student Fees

The school's tuition covers the cost of locker rental, administrative record-keeping, computer lab/laptop usage, standardized testing and student yearbooks. Fees are assessed for parking permits, admittance to social and extracurricular events, school lunches, field trips, Immersion Week activities, participation in sports and retreats, and Advance Placement (AP) classes.

    Registration

The school requires a $150 tuition deposit that must accompany applications for enrollment or re-enrollment. The school will not consider a student to be enrolled until all forms within the application for enrollment or re-enrollment are complete and the tuition deposit has been received.

    Withdrawals

Families who withdraw a student after July 1 and students dismissed during the school year are obligated to pay the full tuition for the school year.
