What did you do right after graduation? 

I attended Spalding University for undergrad and the University of Cincinnati for graduate school. I am married with 3 daughters.

Where are you and what are you doing now?

Teaching theology at a local high school

 

What do you like most about what you are doing?

I have led 3 national presentations in theology and have contributed to 2 textbooks. My latest book is called Hollywood or History: An Inquiry Based Strategy for Using Film to Teach World Religions.

 

What is your favorite memory about DeSales?

English class with Mr. Eppinger.

 

Who influenced you most during your time at DeSales?

Tony Medley, Tim Burke, Laura Probus, Roger Eppinger and Tim Keogh.

 

What classes and learning experiences did you have at DeSales that are beneficial to the work you do?

Theology class with Tim Keogh

 

What is the most important thing you learned while you were at DeSales?

To be Christ for others.

 

What advice do you have for current (or potential) students at DeSales?

To be who you are and be that perfectly.

 

What do you like to do in your free time?

Reading or watching movies .

 

Do you still stay in touch with any of your DeSales friends?

I still talk to and hang out with Keith Bell '98, Jared Manning '98 and Mike Mulhall '97.

 

What’s next for you/where do you see yourself in five years?

Teaching theology in high school.
