Calling All Parents & Alumni for the Colt Club!
Interested in being a part of a group at DeSales that really helps make things happen? The "Colt Club", to be formed for the '08-'09 school year, is a booster club that will bring together parents and alumni to support the countless activities that go on at DeSales each year, including athletics events, fundraisers, Open House, etc. This is a great way to get involved and meet other parents and alumni.  Coach Mac Picks Up 700th Win; Colts Win 24-0
In the latest athletic milestone to occur at DeSales this year, Baseball Head Coach Tom McAnally cruised to his 700th career victory in a rout of Iroquois High School on Thursday, April 24. Coach Mac, in his 21st year of coaching at DeSales, becomes only the 10th coach to reach 700 wins. McAnally is in his final year of coaching baseball but will remain as faculty member at DeSales. DeSales Summer Basketball Camps Announced
Head Basketball Coach Lance Hammond and staff will conduct a youth basketball camp this summer at DeSales High School. There are four different sessions to choose from, accommodating boys entering the 2nd through 9th grades. The camp will feature skill instruction in shooting, ball-handling, passing and defense, instruction in basic individual and team offensive and defensive concepts, hold a skills contest with awards, and much more. Senior to Receive Special Award
Congratulations to Senior Jeremiah Blake, who was selected to receive an “Unsung Hero Award” from the Rotary Club of Louisville. Jeremiah is one of our many outstanding young men in the building who quietly lead by positive Christian example. (...more)
