Gaming Innovations Lab
The Gaming Innovations Lab, also known as the GIL, is a new feature on campus - providing students a space to collaborate and create within a video game design curriculum. Housing state-of-the-art video game and 3D design computers, the GIL provides a unique and modern take on technology in and outside of a normal class setting.
Whether you a just beginning basic game coding, or in route to take your design skills off to college, there is something here for every young designer and gamer.
This new lab houses twelve state-of-the-art gaming computers, giving students access to multiple video game design classes including “Intro to 3D Design,” and “Intro to Video Game Design, as well as advanced level classes.
KHSAA E-Sports
The GIL is also home to the newly KHSAA sanctioned E-Sports Team, where players can participate in video game tournaments with each other and other schools within the state and beyond. We are proud to have the GIL join our campus, and give our students one more way to build upon their education and brotherhood.

STEM SKills
The GIL is another example of how DeSales strives to put technology and 21st Century STEM skills at the forefront of a DeSales education. From coding, to hands-on learning, to team building, the GIL will be an outlet for all students to be who they are and be that well.
