Funding Elements

ELEMENT 1: INNOVATION CENTER $5.0 MILLION

To be funded through multi-year gifts & pledges

DeSales has always been a leader in innovation. Today, experiential learning requires flexible labs, spaces, furniture and equipment. The new Innovation Center will allow DeSales’ facilities to catch up with our innovative programs and dedicated faculty. The new center will include:

• Labs equipped with leading-edge furnishings and fixtures.  The new labs will allow every teacher to support hands-on learning across the curriculum.

• An expanded Gaming Innovations Lab to meet the exploding demand for our technology curriculum and extra-curricular programs (including e-sports).

• A flexible space to be used daily for grade-level presentations on topics such as postsecondary readiness, mental health strategies, drug and alcohol awareness, etc.

• A flexible space for programs, performances or practices that currently have no good space in our school to function – music, arts, athletics.

• An area large enough to hold the entire student body for all-school liturgies and assemblies.

• The ability to host community-wide gatherings without limiting access to Dodge Gymnasium, such as Benefit Feast, college fairs, career days, Hall of Honors, etc.

ELEMENT 2: Endowment

Our endowment is funded through increased membership in the 1956 Society, and through interest income from the DeSales Foundation supports tuition assistance.  HELP us build our endowment account.
