DeSales Athletics is proud to announce that Coach Tyler Whitchurch has been named the new Head Coach of Track & Field for the 2021 season. Coach Whitchurch became the school’s first lacrosse coach last year, and plans to build on both programs this season.
“DeSales has a rich history of track and field, and I want to see it continue to grow,” Whitchurch said. “I am excited about being able to develop athletes that will better their other athletic goals as well. Being able to find the intrinsic motivation to finish a race after being exhausted is something that rides home with me. Learning this skill will translate to other sports such as lacrosse, basketball, and football.”
