Yes! DeSales High School is committed to making Catholic education affordable for all families. DeSales offers an array of need-based & merit scholarship options, as well as tuition assistance for families who qualify. Families can find more information & apply online.

DeSales High School strives to offer the most personalized education in the City of Louisville. With an average class size of 14, and a student to teacher ratio of 11:1, DeSales is second to none at providing a sense of community in education.
 
DeSales' size provides students immediate access to our modernized campus, as well as our talented faculty and staff.  
Whether a student wishes to attend a 4-year college, trade school, the military, or is still trying to find his path, our individualized curriculum will guide him on his way. DeSales is proud to have a 100% College Acceptance Rate and provides 48 Dual College Credit Hours through five state colleges. We also have an acclaimed learning differences program - meeting the needs of each and every student walking through our doors.  
The House System is compromised of nine "Houses" of approximately 35 students. 
Each house is compromised of freshmen through seniors, and students remain in the same House through all four years. Houses compete in a variety of contest that encourage unity and pride among our students. Each House has its own mascot, color, and student designed t-shirts. House Representatives also work closely with Student Government on school projects throughout the year. 

Immersion Week is a unique program at DeSales that provides high-interest, hands-on, interactive learning outside of the normal classroom experience.  Teachers work together to craft meaningful experiences for the students.  Significant time and planning goes into making these experiences spark the curiosity and interest of students.

 

Recent Immersion Week activities have included trips abroad to England, Spain, and Italy, excursions to Boston, Philadelphia and the Grand Canyon, college tours, career exploration in law enforcement and sports, and more.
