House System

The House System at DeSales is comprised of nine "Houses" of approximately 35 students.  The houses are named for sainted Carmelites throughout history: Abbati, Brandsma, Elijah, Kalinowski, Mazzinghi, Pereira, Rabata, Spagnoli, and Thomas. Watch this quick video on the House System at DeSales.

Each House is comprised of freshmen through seniors, and students remain in the same House for all four years at DeSales.  Throughout the year, Houses compete in a variety of contests that encourage unity and pride among our students.  Each House has its own mascot, colors, and student-designed T-shirts.  Representatives from each House work closely with the Student Government on projects and issues.

Through the House system, students build stronger ties with each other and experience a deeper sense of brotherhood.
