Alumni Association Update

From the Alumni Association Chairman,
Scott Medley '93

The spring semester is underway and our alma mater is making fantastic strides recruiting new students. Hopefully, you've seen the numbers from the Advancement office and share my excitement for the next batch of young Colts. With an expanded class comes a larger qualified need for financial aid. The school's fundraising efforts will focus on funding that need. Your Alumni Association maintains a very clear mission to help the school achieve its goals through outreach and recruitment. To that end, we are asking for your help.

We are quickly approaching the Phonathon and my request to you is simple: Help us reach out to your brothers. Aside from a financial donation, volunteering to make calls to YOUR classmates is the single greatest method of support DeSales can receive. We are significantly more successful when we call our own classmates. This is the opportunity for a lot of you to help. We're asking for those of you who benefited from financial aid, those who worked to afford DeSales, those who have sought opportunities to help in some way, raise your hand to volunteer for the 2021 Phonathon. Although we'd prefer volunteers come to the property, the Advancement Office is supporting remote callers. You would receive all the necessary lists, instructions and support to be successful in your effort in the comfort of your own home.

I can't express enough how much we appreciate those who have committed to help and I sincerely hope to see many more of you do the same.

Go Colts!
