What did you do right after graduation? College/career/travel/military?
After graduation I attended Spring Hill College in Mobile, AL where I achieved my MBA as well as playing collegiate basketball there.
Describe DeSales in three words.
Life-long brotherhood
Where are you and what are you doing now?
I just recently finished playing professional basketball in Europe (North Macedonia & Germany) for the past two seasons. Now I am living in Nashville, TN and working as a sales associate for a medical device company called Stryker.
What do you like most about what you are doing?
Helping patients get the best healthcare imaginable.
What is your favorite memory about DeSales?
My favorite memory from DeSales would be the senior year retreat at Mount St. Francis. A close second would be the first round of the regional tournament when Dillon Sievert hit the game winning three for us to advance on.
Who influenced you most during your time at DeSales?
It is hard to just point out one person who influenced me while at DeSales because I had so many great mentors. Some of them being Coach John Mingus, Mr. Chad Bader, Coach Harold Davis, Mrs. Shelley Strong, Mr. Bill Moore, Coach Lance Hammond, Coach Tom Crews, and Coach Mike Ayersman.
What classes and learning experiences did you have at DeSales that are beneficial to the work you do?
Overall education and strong sense of brotherhood that incorporates so many core values that have formed me into who I am today.
What is the most important thing you learned while you were at DeSales?
To always push myself to be better every single day.
What advice do you have for current (or potential) students at DeSales?
Enjoy your time while here! I can promise that you will miss it when it's all over with.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I really enjoy watching/playing sports, hanging out with friends/family, reading, working out, traveling and eating good food.
What is something people may not know about you?
That I'm really big into meditation.
Do you still stay in touch with any of your DeSales friends?
Absolutely. Even with going away for college and living outside of the country, I have stayed connected with the guys and always catch up when I'm in town.
What’s next for you/where do you see yourself in five years?
In five years I hope to be a full sales representative for Stryker, either here in Nashville or back home in Louisville.
