New Learning Resources Coordinator Announced

DeSales High School is proud to welcome Mrs. Emily Gardner as the school's Learning Resources Coordinator. Mrs. Gardner will oversee the learning resources department by assisting students with learning differences and creating student accommodation plans. 
 
"As an educator, the most important role is to understand the individual and how they learn best," Mrs. Gardner said in a statement. "My experiences and background have provided me the opportunity to work with a diverse population of learners, families, and coworkers.  It has also allowed me to efficiently reinforce a positive attitude in regard to designing, tracking, and achieving goals, creating accomplished and well-rounded learners."
 
Mrs. Gardner has been an educator for 17 years and holds a BA in Child and Family Studies from Eastern Kentucky University and a MAT in special education LBD P-12 from the University of the Cumberlands. She is also a Certified Wilson Dyslexia practitioner and a certified Google Level I Educator.
