Supportive, welcoming, effective

I’m currently an Assistant Coach for the women’s basketball team at the University of Memphis
What do you like most about what you are doing?
Being in the world of sports is a dream come true. I love the challenges that basketball presents from the scouting and strategy aspects.
What is your favorite memory about DeSales?
I remember the lifelong relationships/connections that were built at DeSales that I still communicate with today
Who influenced you most during your time at DeSales?
There are so many staff members that come to mind. Most notably, Mr P, Coach Crowdis, and Coach Crews as a student/player. As a Coach at DeSales, Coach Anderson and Coach Ferch. Everyone played a role in impacting my life, no matter their role.
What classes and learning experiences did you have at DeSales that are beneficial to the work you do?
A mix between a couple of experiences. I grew as a basketball player/mind under Coach Crews and Coach Crowdis. Mr. P helped me fall in love with the analytical side of basketball which I use every day.

DeSales helped me with confidence and work ethic. Teachers and coaches helped me be more confident in myself and helped me realize that hard work pays off.
What advice do you have for current (or potential) students at DeSales?
Don’t take the time at DeSales for granted. It’s a great place to be with people that care.
What is your favorite DeSales Event? Why?
Not necessarily one single event but the Danger Zone at all sporting events. Whether it was playing in front of the Danger Zone at basketball games or being a part of it at football/baseball/soccer game, Danger Zone always brought it
Do you still stay in touch with any of your DeSales friends?
I stay in touch with tons of people from DeSales. Almost every day, I talk to at least one person from DeSales.
