Brotherhood, Faith, Tradition
 
Where are you and what are you doing now?
Haddam, Connecticut-working for Grainger but retiring 5/1/26.
 
What do you like most about what you are doing?
Leading my team as top contributors to our organization.
 
What is your favorite memory about DeSales?
Learning & Playing Soccer for Coach Tim Burke and the closeness of our Senior members from the 1975-76 team.
 
Who influenced you most during your time at DeSales?
Father Greg Klein & Tim Burke
 
What classes and learning experiences did you have at DeSales that are beneficial to the work you do?
Actually the English classes helped me to be a better writer from a vocabulary and a grammar perspective.
 
What is the most important thing you learned while you were at DeSales?
Relationship building.
 
What advice do you have for current (or potential) students at DeSales?
Be open to it all. Experience the DeSales way of life, contribute to it, and plan to give back.
 
What is your favorite DeSales Event? Why?
There are many. From my time there it was the Football & Basketball games, Senior Retreat, Fall & Spring Festivals.
 
What do you like to do in your free time?
Hiking, umpiring baseball, and yard work.
 
What is something people may not know about you?
We moved to Louisville just before my sophomore year. A little over 30 years after moving to Louisville and living in Richmond, Atlanta, & Jacksonville I ended up moving back to the small town of about 8000 people where I lived before Louisville.
 
Do you still stay in touch with any of your DeSales friends?
I do have a few that started getting together a few years ago and are on a group text.
 
What’s next for you/where do you see yourself in five years?
Retired and spending more time with friends and family.
