DeSales High School Paul B. Cox Stadium

DeSales High School provides a sports program that develops individual skills while teaching student-athletes lessons in teamwork, sportsmanship, and fair play.

DeSales fields teams in 16 KHSAA sports:

Over the years DeSales teams have represented the school at the highest level of competition, winning team state titles in Cross Country (1968, 1969, 1970) and Football (2013, 2014), three individual state championships in Cross Country, and eight individual state championships in Track & Field.

The majority of DeSales students participate in one or more sports, and DeSales is blessed with some of the area's most respected coaches. Many DeSales alumni have gone on to play on both the collegiate and professional levels.

Academic Requirements

Participation in clubs, sports and extracurricular activities is encouraged as a way to enrich a young man's high school experience.

Consistent with the bylaws of the Kentucky High School Athletic Association, a student must be passing in five of his seven courses in order to compete or participate in KHSAA-sanctioned events or any other school-sponsored extracurricular activities or events.
