The Mathematics Department at DeSales High School supports the Vision Statement of DeSales by striving for excellence in mathematics education through cooperative and collaborative efforts between students and staff.

The goals of the Mathematics Department include:

• Guiding students to achieve success in college-credit mathematics courses.
• Incorporating technology in both daily teaching and learning practice.
• Helping students to think precisely and critically in regard to the principles of mathematics and problems-solving.
